A lot of people take that stuff seriously. I believe in AGW but there's no way in hell I'd get into an argument stating that we need to cut population in half to prevent AGW. It would probably work but the cost would be far too high. The answer lies in moving on from a fossil fuel based/carbon dioxide emitting civilisation.
