Is the earth just getting warmer, or is it gettein colder in some places too? How is it being caused? I know its something about the greenhouse gases and all that jazz but i want to know all the facts!

Okay so about 10-20 years ago scientists began to notice that the average temperature of the world (measured daily) was going up, as were the amount of greenhouse gases (essentially pollutants) being put in the air was going up as well.
However, the hottest year on record was actually 2006, and since then it has not been going up, despite the fact that greenhouse emmisions from humans has been. So in truth we aren’t causing global warming.
However, it is still important to recycle, limit pollutants and live green.
